I’m David Lim, co-founder of Maya David.
You might know me from the TV series S.W.A.T., but off-screen, I’ve poured my heart into building this brand alongside my wife, Marketa.
Travel has always shaped what we create — from wandering the streets of Rome to getting lost in Tokyo to slowing down in the Czech countryside. These places, and their stories, influence how we design each piece.
Maya David isn’t just about jewelry. It’s about meaning. It’s about creating something you can live in — pieces made with intention, love, and lasting materials. The kind you’ll reach for every day and carry with you for years.

This is hands down one of my favorite pieces in my collection. As someone who wears a lot of black on black with subtle pops of metal and color — and who also buys into the energetic properties of stones and crystals — the Arcanum Bracelet blends grounding and protective energy with fine jewelry in a way that feels very “me." The faceted black tourmaline beads catch light in a low-key, mysterious way, and the 14K gold rondelles and clasp give it that touch of luxury I gravitate toward. I love that nothing about it feels over the top, and it sits comfortably on my wrist, either alone or stacked with my black ceramic Panerai watch. The bracelet always goes perfectly with my outfit, whether I’m in athleisure or a suit, and I always get compliments when I’m wearing it. It’s the perfect balance of protective energy, elegance, and everyday wearability. I highly recommend this bracelet!
As someone who leans toward minimalism, the Crossroads Necklace is exactly that — meaningful without being heavy-handed. The onyx and cross are elegant and bold in the right way; it sits smoothly, feels secure, and doesn’t swing or catch. Our gemstones are ethically sourced through trusted U.S. and international partners, selected for their color, character, and energy. Each stone is chosen by hand before becoming part of a Maya David design.
We work exclusively with solid 925 sterling silver, 14K gold, and natural gemstones—crafted to last and made to age beautifully with wear.
